If you’re looking for a cozy, flavorful, and culturally rich coffee experience, El Kafecito in San Marcos is an absolute must-visit. This beautiful little spot instantly feels like home. It’s warm, welcoming, and filled with the kind of flavors and hospitality that are hard to find elsewhere. I recently tried their freshly squeezed lemonades, and the peach and lavender were both incredible—refreshing and full of real, vibrant flavor. When it comes to coffee, the Café de la Olla and Dulce de Leche are my personal favorites. They’re rich, comforting, and full of that authentic taste that reminds you of home. I did try the Mazapan flavor recently and, while it wasn’t my favorite, the overall variety and creativity in their menu more than make up for it. What I love most about this place is how it honors culture. It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s a celebration of flavor, tradition, and community. From sugar-free options to decaf, iced or hot coffee, and everything in between, there’s truly something for everyone here. The service is always warm and genuine, and the atmosphere they’ve created is inviting and unique. You can tell this is a place built with heart. Plus, it’s conveniently located and has great hours, making it easy to stop by whether you’re on the go or looking to relax for a bit. If you love supporting small businesses and want a coffee experience that goes far beyond what the chains can offer, come try El Kafecito.

First time visiting here, it was recommended to me & the service was amazing and fast. I got the horchata latte with horchata cold foam & it did not disappoint! Really good flavor, not overly sweet & coffee tasted good :) also great prices!

Was our first time here! Found outlets easily, the coffee was super delicious and had lots of variety of flavors! The barista Alisson was amazing and made my whole experience so much more memorable! I didn’t even realize she was noticing me using napkins to dry my hands (I had forgotten to grab a paper towel after washing my hands!) after using the restroom and made extra effort to make sure that the bathroom paper towels hadn’t run out! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was a great experience! I’m definitely coming back here to have the amazing coffee and work on my projects!

Always a 10/10 experience here! I have tried a bunch of drinks but the Dulce De Leche & Horchata Latte have been my favorites. Highly recommend - always good to support a local business :)

I got a medium Dulce De Leche Latte and my husband got a small Horchata Latte. My friend recommended this place because I needed a pick me up. The cashier said the Dulce De Leche was her favorite so I ordered that. It was SO good and my medium drink was only $5. The small horchata latte was only $4. Great prices and great taste! Truly a great new go to spot for me now! I feel like I found a hidden gem!

This is wild! Great to see a local coffee shop like this, they serve my favorite roaster, Manzanita. I can't believe they were next to the home depot the whole time, we need some bigger signs! And a little training on hospitality but besides that atmosphere is great and coffee is great.
